For the first time ever, we are kicking off the Christmas season with Christmas At the Movies on the weekend of November 30 & December 1. We’ll use a classic holiday movie to illustrate biblical truths. Kids programming will even be available for kids ages birth to 5th grade, and grade schoolers (kindergarten–5th grade) will get their own Christmas At the Movies experience!
This is the perfect time to invite someone new to church! You can easily do that by downloading the graphic below and posting it on your social media!
What can I expect?
Christmas At the Movies will kick off the Christmas season at Lakepointe. Campuses will be decorated, photo booths will be ready for your family and we will use a classic Christmas movie to illustrate biblical truths.
Will there be kids programming?
Yes! Programming will be available for ages birth–5th grade. Kids in kindergarten–5th grade will get their own Christmas At the Movies experience with a special movie and holiday treat.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT FROM AT THE MOVIES IN THE SUMMER?
During Christmas At the Movies, we will only show one movie during the weekend of November 30 and December 1. There will not be popcorn, drinks or characters available.
CAN I WATCH CHRISTMAS ATM ONLINE?
Due to copyright reasons, Christmas At the Movies will only be available at our physical locations. For our online family, we’ve prepared a special ‘Best Of’ sermon, where we dive into the Word of God through one of the best messages we’ve had here at Lakepointe, in addition to having live worship.

This Christmas season, we’re taking time to remember what this season is all about—the birth of Jesus Christ. Celebrate Christmas with your family during one of our candlelight services at each of our six locations or online. You’ll experience incredible worship, a traditional candlelight ceremony and a meaningful message.

WILL CHILDCARE BE PROVIDED?
Kid’s Programming will be available for children three years old and under, where they will learn about the story of Christmas.
Families with children four and up are encouraged to attend the candlelight service together.
How early should I arrive?
Seats fill up fast. We recommend you arrive about 30–40 minutes in advance to find parking, check in kids under three and find a seat for everyone in your family.
Photo booths will be available in campus lobbies for your family to take the memories of Christmas at Lakepointe home with you. Be sure to arrive in plenty of time for photos!
What should I wear?
Come wearing whatever you’re most comfortable in. Remember! Photo booths will be available in campus lobbies to take your family Christmas pictures.
What is a candlelight service?
Our Christmas candlelight services are a time to come together and celebrate the joy and promise of this season. You’ll experience the same welcoming environment, worship and Bible teaching you know and love at Lakepointe, with the addition of a traditional candlelighting at the end of the service.
How can I invite my friends and family?
This is the perfect time to invite someone new to church! You can pick up physical invite cards in your campus lobby following weekend services leading up to Christmas. or you can easily get the word out by using the assets here. Use these to post on social media or send a text!
